Job reference: IT_05_2014_Teahouse/Projekt: Teahouse development
At Wikimedia Deutschland e.V., we support projects that aim to create, promote and distribute free content. Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia, is the best-known example.
We promote education and free access to knowledge, but we also advance the basic principles of free knowledge beyond the encyclopedia.
Our goal is to incorporate the idea of free knowledge into everyday life.
We are also calling for a secure legal framework that ensures projects like Wikipedia can be created and developed in the future, too.
The Teahouse project aims to provide new contributors to German-language Wikipedia with a user-friendly space that encourages interaction and allows for easier entry into the world of Wikipedia.
This part of the project concerns the development of a dialogue function to allow for questions to be asked more easily and efficiently.
We are looking for a freelancer/self-employed individual/service company to start as soon as possible on developing a part of our Teahouse Project.
The project and its key areas have been divided into “user stories,” which indicate the functions of the product. “User stories” describe the initial product to be developed and its functions.
