As the program rushes to an end, the participants of the UNLOCK Accelerator are giving it their all to prepare and rehearse for this year’s virtual Demo Day. On October 6th, each team will present their prototype in front of a live audience. Participation is open to all and here is all you need to know to join.
Clear the stage for the five participating teams of the UNLOCK Accelerator 2021!
The Demo Day marks an important milestone in the UNLOCK program. For some project teams, this might well be the first time they get up on stage and share their prototype with a wider audience. Others are well versed in talking about their product. But for all, this is the end of an intense journey together as part of the UNLOCK Accelerator, as well as the beginning of a much longer ride.
For three months, with the help of coachings and input from experts, the group has been pushing to bring their initial project ideas to life. Each project offers a concrete and scalable solution to this year’s challenge of (re)building trust in the digital age. No easy task, but each team has been working hard with their sleeves rolled up and a willingness to get their hands dirty in a short period of time.

The Demo Day is the big annual showcase event of the UNLOCK Accelerator where the participating teams claim the stage and demonstrate their prototypes to a public audience.
Initially, the five participating teams will briefly introduce themselves and their products to give us all an overview of what they have been working on. Subsequently, each team will showcase their prototype in more depth on different (parallel) stages. You will have the chance to move through the digital space in two rounds similar to a virtual gallery walk.
All five teams that were selected for the program will be present at the Demo Day and will click us through their prototypes. More information on them and their visions can be found here.

The working language of this year’s program is English and we have an international cohort of participants, therefore the Demo Day will be held in English as well.
